SHIMMER is a kinetic installation exploring order, chance, and the beauty of unpredictable.

At its core is a precise mechanical system: dozens of narrow mirrors move along predetermined paths, forming a continuous wave. The object itself appears controlled — every movement is carefully defined.

But when light enters the system, everything changes. Reflections escape the object, spread across the surrounding space, intersect, encounter obstacles, and create patterns that are almost impossible to predict.

SHIMMER exists within this contrast. The object represents order; the space around it becomes a field for chance. Light connects the two, transforming a rigid system into something alive and unpredictable.
